Shipping & Return Policy
We ship all orders within the United States by UPS or United Postal Service. You can choose ground service for regular needs.
PLEASE NOTE: If choosing air shippments, it is your responsibility to make sure that someone is there to receive the package. We cannot be responsible for nobody being there and we will NOT refund refused packages. You may choose from overnight, 2-Day & 3 Day services. In order for the package to make air shipments for the same day-the order must be placed by 12:00 noon PST. We will not refund refused packages.
NOTE: Due to warm weather we do NOT SHIP CHOCOLATE from May through October. If you order chocolate within that time period, it is shipped at your risk.
Do not rely on same day shipping UNLESS you pay the extra rush charges. We do NOT GUARANTEE 2 day shipping!
International Orders
Choose USPS First Class Mail International Package. An additional $8.00 is charged for the extra paperwork for processing these orders.
We gladly ship all over the world. NY Cake is happy to process your orders. International orders incur an extra 3 days for processing and producing the paperwork necessary for customs. Please be aware in order to cover these extra costs for paperwork, we need to charge an extra $8.00 to your order. Be sure to select international charge and add it to your order. If you forget to do so, we will re-bill your credit card.
Also, shipping rates are ONLY AN ESTIMATE. There are instances where inernational rates may vary and there may be additional charges incurred for shipping. Once the package is boxed and weighed we will know. In such instances, you will be notified via e-mail as to the additional shipping charges. Once you CONFIRM these additional charges via e-mail, we will ship out the package. Try to respond in a timely manner as we will NOT KEEP ORDERS IN THE WAREHOUSE AFTER 1 week has passed.
Furthermore, we have several check systems in place BEFORE shipping an order. Each and every order is check and double checked before leaving the premisis. WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS TAKEN BY CUSTOMS!!!! The buyer orders at their own risk. ALL ORDERS ARE SHIPPED OUT COMPLETE UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTIFIED BY US. You must choose International charge and add it to your shopping cart. If you forget-we will rebill you $8.00 for the processing fee.
Please check your shipping address before clicking the order button. Street, Avenue, Boulevard, Road, Lane, Apartment numbers, ,etc. must be included. In the case that they are omitted by you or corrected by UPS- there will be an additional $8.00 fee billed to you the customer. Please take the time to read over this information before placing your order. We cannot be responsible for these mistakes.

If you would like to return an item you MUST call 1-877-NYCAKE-8 and request a return authorization number. Please be ware that many food items are NOT RETURNABLE. Chocolate and Icing that is shipped is at the customers' risk. We will not credit customers who ship back merchandise without prior approval. There is a 20% re-stocking fee on all approved returns. absolutely, NO REFUNDS ON SHIPPING CHARGES.
